Is this a typo or an acronym? If it's a typo, please don't
think I'm criticizing, but I'm thinking it's an acronym that
I'm obviously not familiar with. If I'm right, what does it
mean? I'm relatively new to users' groups, and very new to
new this one, which uses far more acronyms that the lionel
train forum I also belong to.

I don't want to start another riot like the one that went on
a few days ago, but is there a FAQ that lists these acronyms
somewhere? I honestly wouldn't know where to look for that
info, and I'm guessing it's not in the MacFaq.

That "flame war" as someone put it was a real treat. That
unfolded on my first day on this list, and almost
unsubscribed, thinking that was the norm here. I'm glad I
didn't, as I've learned alot in a just a day or two. I'm
also glad to see that that doesn't appear to be a daily
occurence, and hopefully I'll see that it's quite rare.

Thanks,

J White
