My mind is fast at work here. :) MacPPP doesn't require a modem, does it? That is, it works over computer-to-computer (null-modem) connections, right? If yes, then I'll be able to get my old Macs online with that -- I just recently bought a beige G3 mini-tower that has two serial ports. Since I'm going to run OS X Server v1.2 (Unix) on it, I'll be able to run pppd on that, and connect two old Macs to it. This is Most Excellent! Here comes my Mac Plus web server! :) Eagle -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
