Set about doing a Takky hack to my CC tonight as I just wasn't getting the
usage out of it as a Mystic that I'd wanted. So far, it seems to be almost
there. Hit the power switch, I get the startup chime from the speaker on
the analog board, it boots up, but I get no video on the screen. The tube
seems to be totally dead to the world, no static or anything else. I do get
"squinchy" noises from the analog board so something high voltage is
working. Naturally, since I've hacked up my only analog wiring connector, I
can't try reconnecting the Mystic. Unless someone out there has a spare
wiring harness they want to get rid of...

Anyway, I have a couple things I'm worried about. First, is there supposed
to be anything connected to BD12 on the logic board? Also, I found a broken
bit of wiring on the tube the last time I picked it up that looked like a
ground connector. However, I had several other bits of electronics in the
same box so I have no idea whether it came from the CC tube or not. So, is
there supposed to be a single, fairly short wire going somewhere? There
appears to be a small tab it might connect to on the metal box on the back,
but I'm not seeing anywhere else for it to connect.

Any other ideas? :) Not quite sure if this is the best forum, but I know
there are a good many CC owners here. I'm so close, yet so far away :)

Thanks,
Scott Holder
