You don't have to run it 24/7. And considering that many Americans leave their porch light running, an electricity expenditure much greater than a Performa 475 (my router) I think that many savings could be had in areas other than just my router. Likewise, the cost of recycling the 475, and the energy expenditure to melt it into its component materials. I think it might be something of a savings to keep it in service. >Huh?
