Hi Folks,

Before I go any further. I Should update things a bit. I put the HD back
into the SE. Looked for loose/damaged solder. Didn't see any. Jiggled
plugs (while it was on) and when I jiggled the large plug with the
bundle that runs from the board at the side (that's the analog one,
right?) to the mobo at the bottom, I got the familiar "bong" sound and
the floppy drive engaged. However, am still left with the same problem
of no video and HD light blinking but this time HD light blinks 3-quick
and then pauses and repeats.

Looked at the faq about video problems. Only thing i can see is about
removing and cleaning rom chips. Does that seem like it's worthwhile?

Regards,
Phil.
