>DB-9 usually means VGA or proprietary. Actually, when I see 9 pin, I immediately start thinking TTL monitor. Something like the old Herculese monitors for the PC or the 12" monochrome monitor for Macintosh. There were quite a number of TTL monitors out there. They're all monochrome only, no greyscales, etc. I have a Full Page Display on my SE/30 that is TTL, and it only works with the Radius monitor that its designed to mate with. So the card might be a mate to a specific monitor, and not something that any old monitor could work with.
