Hey, there are *wives* on this list!! Hee, hee, I'm having a hard time justifying and applying a use to each and every Mac I've *rescued*. Have even used the "it's for the baby" excuse, plumping it down on the floor and firing up KeyWhack. A baby doesn't have to be even born before I have a computer all set up in waiting. On Mondays, on the way home from work, my husband stops by the thrift shop (Monday is 50% off) and before saying "hi" or giving a hug or any kind of greeting, I ask, "Did they have any Macs???" He tries to lie but I can read right thru him and grab the keys out of his hands, "...I'll be back in a jiffy!" Once I got into a bidding war on ebay for a collection (100 or so) compacts. Would have had a hard time fitting all those *unnoticeably* into the decor. Aedan, how about setting up your compact finds as a shelving unit, using a compact on each side to hold up planks. Then load the shelves up with yard and sports gear. The Mrs. might not notice the *supports* and you'd get kudo's for cleaning the garage to boot!
