My SE/30 appears to be suffering from the lurch at the moment. I recently swapped the logic board with that of my other SE/30 as I suspect the audio caps are dying (shows typical dead-audio symptoms). That solved the audio problem, now my ethernet card is on the blink.
It originally refused to work and I found that the card had popped out of the PDS slot last time I was working in there. Now, having reseated it and had it working, I now find it's stopped working again. FWIW the 'Jabber' light on my 10baseT hub is flashing all the time when it's connected. I had an issue with the RJ-45 connector not seating right but I solved that and copied a file from my desk drawer server (it's an LC475 in a desk drawer - I ran out of desk :) ) so it WAS working. Now the AppleTalk panel won't switch to Ethernet. To add insult to injury I think the floppy has died. I put in the HP install disk for the Deskwriter C I just revived and it said it didn't recognise it. I also copied a file to floppy on (in??) my desk drawer machine and it wouldn't copy it off. The external works (thank god I rebuilt it with a 1.4MB drive!) but the internal is gone.
