No jumpers. I'd suspect a damaged RAM Socket. Got a magnifying glass?
Look at the teeth in the slots. Any damaged or missing?
Also, you get weird behavior when you mix RAM of different speeds in the
row. You may have to go thru all your 1 meg. RAM, too and see if any are
damaged.
