Howdy, all. I have 2 SE/30's - one is my beloved first computer from my college days, the other is a backup machine I bought from a surplus sale. The second one has a quirk in the memory that I'm hoping someone can shed some light on. It came with four 1 MB SIMMs in the first bank. I put four known good 1 MB SIMMs in the second bank (total of 8 MB) and it wouldn't boot. Then I put four known good 16 MB SIMMs in the first bank (nothing in the second) and it wouldn't boot. The motherboard has a date of 1989 on it. Are there jumpers or something else I don't know about on this board? My other mac is slightly newer and I had no problems upgrading that memory. TIA for any help you can offer! -js
