Matt:

The TV card  is removable. Perhaps, "back in the olden days",
some one might have decided that sacrificing the TV for a IIe
card was a good idea.

It would have had to be a special card, for the Mac TV only,
the slot for the TV card is unique and I'm not even sure they
could have even made it work.
