One of my external SCSI HD (2GB) made some sounds like it was frying
! I removed the HD from the case, and would like to try connecting
to another case that is known to be good.

Is this a simple procedure, or are there any problems with
compatibility ? The case that I would like to try out presently has
a 1GB SCSI HD. Both cases appear to be the same (Apple).
