I need some help getting my SE/30 online. I called my ISP (Softcom)
and they told me that they do support Mac OS 7.5.3 and above. They
no longer support OS 7.1

I have tried several versions of PPP, including FreePPP. Still
cannot connect. When I had OS 7.1, my modem actually did connect, at
26000, but I could not get online with browser or e-mail.

Presently I have installed OS 7.5.5, Best Data Smart One 336FLX
modem, 20MB RAM, Eudora 1.5.5, Netscape 2.02. I have tried turning
off Virtual Memory, but still cannot get online.

Configure PPP Control Panel - The button "Open" is not active, so now
I can't even click on the Open button. I know this machine will go
online, just have to figure out the correct software and settings.
