Your trouble with Netscape 2.02 now that you have ironed out your IP settings is that Netscape cannot interpret some of the html which many pages use these days, and it doesn't handle java very well, and java is everywhere.
Just keep clicking on 'OK' till the error window goes away, which will be when a page has fully downloaded.
