most likely you can tweak several of the coils and other controls on the analog board. you may or may not increase the stress on parts too much, it's hard to say. you may wind up killing an se/30 analog board, but it's probably repairable if you do. you may also have to adjust the video level and offset to avoid the "zig-zag" which is most likely a retrace line when the beam is reset vertically or horizontally. as for black on white vs. white on black, simply inverting the video should do. the se/30 analog board most likely wants ttl level video rather than the normal level of video, the easiest way of producing it would be with a comparator in series on the vid line. you might actually have to change some of the analog board components to tweak it sufficiently, i'll see if i still have a schematic.
