that's one of the nice things about the mac os, you can always change the icons. i've got custom icons for all my drive partitions now, of course you can also do it for applications. i've got the mac version of a pc app (a tiny little database of ammunition calibers, their history and basic specs) that came without an icon so i'll be making one with resedit later, now it's just generic. one irritating, is how most applications change the old icons when you install a newer version, netscape does this, it's nice to have the different icons for different versions so you can tell them apart! of course if you cut the old icon first, past it onto a scratch file, you can restore it later, assuming you don't let your drive utils change it back!
