>This is one of those "We get it, so why don't they?" points. Even on my >shiny modern computer running a modern browser,
The computer in question isn't exactly shiny, but it's still a G4. I tried my SE/30, as well, and same problems, different machine and browser. My SE/30 is rather new to the internet (at least as far as I know) and I don't have the proper version of stuffit on here yet to use downloaded files. That's not to mention I've got twice the modem and iGetter (download management program) on the G4. Incidentally, while trolling their website, I've noticed so far that they only use two different "types" of URL's for their downloads. I've been able to guess (about a third to half the time) how they abbreviate the actual filename on their site. This allows me to access their downloads without their ads (and the associated freezes, plus I can use iGetter this way. I downloaded about 10 Meg from their site today since I figured out their index, and didn't use a browser at all, so no ads to crash the system or program :) Now back to on topic conversation; for those of you who haven't tried it and need a bit more stress in your life, download Lemmings from this site. Ten years ago, this game drove me nuts on a PC (running MS-DOS, which to me is much more sane than Windows), and today it picked up right where it left off.
