Well, apparantly I'm not the only one either :-) . Seriously, maybe I'm missing out on the "fun" of auction buying, but if I'm in the market for something, I really appreciate having the "out" of a buy-it-now so everyone's time isn't wasted--I get what I want, which is instant gratification ;-) , and others can continue the hunt elsewhere. When I'm buying something and see $1 starting bid, reserve not yet met and 6 days to go, I move on and don't look back. Preferably to someone who has a more realistic price or buy it now. But that's just me......... .................................Mike T. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Ginn" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Compact Macs" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, August 12, 2002 11:03 PM Subject: Re: Why Reserve Auctions Suck
