I also had an SE/30 that wouldn't boot. I heard through the list that there was a 
problem with caps, but I did not see anything wrong and did not really know which ones 
to look for.

I took some contact cleaner and literally painted the entire motherboard with it. 
After allowing time to dry, I plugged the thing back in and the computer started right 
up!

I used the computer for about a week before placing it into storage, but it never 
failed to start up since the cleaning.
