Not sure if this is quite Compact Macs or Vintage Macs, but y'all have more traffic so
I'll invoke the once-removed rule if necessary <grin>

I'm trying to determine the clock speed of a Performa 578 --- according to this
reference:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=15225 it is 33Mhz

but this one:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=112241 says 66Mhz....

Very strange... there is *some* obscure reference to a "processor upgrade" for the
578 (as opposed to the PowerPC processor upgrade) which DOES indicate 66Mhz.... And is
there a quick and easy way to tell? Open the case? Run a quick diag?

Thanks,
