Hi there I am not a Hispanic speaker (nor even an American English speaker), but i am an expat Brit using Macs in France as i have been sing the mid 80s.
I have various systems and software running in French, English etc. Now as I remeber systems 7 and 8, you basically had to get localised versions of the system, either as floppies (nowadays utterly impossible to find), or as ftp downloads from Apple sites or mirrors. Mac os X changed the whole game, being multi-lingual from the outset, and all you have to do is change the setting on the installer. This holds good up to jaguar, but is irrelevant on a compact. Apart from the system you haev to find (beg borrow or steal) the actual software you need in localised form in the various languages. Why don,t you try contacting the software editors of the programs you want, as they often have archive copies of old versions of programs and ask for a complimnentary copy on educational grounds. In some cases, you might even find some old programs via contacting on-line program servers, such as Citrix, cap in hand, as it were.
