In my experience the printer resets itself. I never have to bother about it. On my plus I use an early version of system 6 and even earlier versions of the laserwriter software to minimize the space the system software needs on the 800 k startup disk. > >> 2. I don't have this experience, I always get wysiwyg, but i only use the older laserwriter drivers on the plus to print simple word processor docs so maybe my experiences are not representative.
