Well,

I've been able to get three PB 140's in the last two years at around $20 apiece.

It's the second-best ~IMHO~ PB, behind the 180 greyscale, at the price, I've
seen. All my 'boks have had batteries that hold a 45 minute to an hour charge.
And they are completely knockabout and worry free. Chip it? Ehh, so what.
Kid brother scrapped the System? Big deal. Easy to fix.

You can get more expensive 'books. But if you worry about theft. The 140 or 180
is an alternative. They even email.
