Sounds like a loose connector (logic to analog, the thick one in the
middle) or bad solder joints on the analog board.

Also possible: crumled ferrite core in one of the adjustable coils on the
analog board. Since it all still works: open it up and check it out!

(sometimes, electronics just want to be opened up  - a way of asking for
attention / affection)
