I have been trying to upgrade my Mac to System 7.0 with no success. Apple's ftp site has this file: System_7.0.smi.bin (which I think is the System 7 file). I get ftp this file to my Mac using the ftp server in NCSA telnet, the system recognizes it as an application, but does not know what to do with it.
I would like to find 800k disk images of System 7.0, but have had no luck finding them. Does anyone know where the 800k disk images are or how to get System_7.0.smi.bin to install?
