It's not just with an SE/30. My G4's internal Zip250 takes about 30 to 45 minutes to transfer info to or from a 100M disk. Had I known that before I bought it, I'd have spent the time to find an internal 100M drive. To keep this on topic, I can transfer a 100M disk to my G4 faster by putting it in my SE/30's external drive, start file sharing, and send it across my 10BaseT network. That's pretty sad, and was a contributing factor as to why my external burner is not made by Iomega. (sorry, OT again) J White -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
