The LC color monitor (Macintosh 12" RGB Display, M1299) is indeed 512x384. But the grayscale (Macintosh 12" Monochrome Display, M1050) is a handy 640x480. Also, I believe some of the multisync monitors can be set to 512x384, and some Macs with video out can display that resolution on a TV.
