B'lieve that's a hardware *modem-based* router. The phone line is for the modem-out and the Mac serial connector, IIRC, is a LocalTalk connection. I think it has a built-in modem and MacIP router for a nice all-in-one package, notwithstanding its undoubtedly atrocious speed. -- the pickle FAQ <http://macfaq.org/index.shtml> Software Archive <ftp://download:jmug@;ftp.jmug.org//Users/thepickl/Sites/Archive/> <http://www.members.jmug.org/%7Ethepickl/archive/> _________________________________________________________________ -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
