Wow, there isn't even much literature on those left.... Let see -- the NetModems were primarily modem sharing outbound (but *could* be configured for dial-in in a pinch), the LANRovers were more of the router-ish devices referenced by da -p.... As I recall the NetShare was the "reverse" of the NetModem -- primarily for dial-in to the LAN. The big problem with ALL the Shiva gear was the slightly bizarre progamming and setup. And now that they've been bought out by Intel, it can only get more confusing <grin>. Now the Fastpath series of devices where originally produced by Kinetics and were a really impressive engineering triumph. Indeed, the very early ones were brushed aluminum in a very artistic design....
