Hello I am new to this forum after recently becoming the proud owner of a Macintosh Classic. Here I have a few questions
1.I am upgrading to system 7.0.1 but when I try to install it I get a message telling me that the installer has run out of memory. I have 2mb installed. Do I have to have 4mb installed? There are no other programs running or INITs/extensions. 2. I have tried to connect an external zip and followed some advice the 'net to drop Iomega driver v3 into the system folder then startup with a zip in the drive and it should mount. But when it boots the extension shows but with a cross throught it. What is happening? This was under system 6. 3. I have some 1mb 30pin SIMMs that I have extracted from my old broken down Quadra. Would I be able to use these in my Classic?
