At least with Plusses you're not worried about HD, SCSI and broken System issues - just bung the floppy in and. . . . . Most came from Scottish Schools. Many had safety checks 01/2001, indicating very recent use! Almost all have Ok batteries, booting up with the right date. Most are 2.5Mb, some 1Mb. Main problem is the usual screen glitch/shake/shimmer/changing brightness issues. Have Pina to hand, but will assess them all first, and may try to get, say, 22 from 26 working, discarding the worst FDs, CRTs (one has a visible 'AppleShare' screen burn over half the display), cases and a/bs. Somewhere I've got a wodge (that word again) of AppleTalk stuff, so could do a nice network with a Hd-ed server. Stuart -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
