Hi all,

I'm still having a problem with an SE/30 and continuous, spontaneous
restarts. According to Pina in his "SE and Classic Upgrades and
Repair" book, the filter network at RP2 on the logic board is the
cause and has to be replaced. With the help of skilled people on this
list, one of whom actually did the job for me, the filter was
replaced. (Not a small task because those guys are really in there
very solidly; I completely mauled the area trying to remove one of
the two.) When this was done and the board was tested on another
SE/30, the problem was no longer there. When I replaced the board
back in the SE/30 that was having the problem the problem manifested
very quickly from a stability after startup of a few minutes, to a
constant cycle of continuous and almost immediate restarts . When I
first replaced the board I was able to go so far as opening msword
and typing one sentence. Now, it doesn't stop restarting long enough
to do anything. Anyone have any ideas of what may be the cause here?
It would seem that the problem is not on the logic board. The analog
board? My electric personality? Suggestions heartily welcomed!

Thank you.
