Did you check the termination? (the little cuff type things that fit over the
little pins on the drive) Internal hard drive should be set to 0, also see if
you can find the manual online for it, that will help you set the pins
correctly.

 As for SCSI probe and HD setup, I've found that you need to try a bunch of
different SCSI utilities, somw will work with a certain drive, others won't. 
Silverlining, Formatter One, Mount Everything are other ones worth a try.
