Heck, all I did was gum up the works.
I was going to say that I have never seen an Asante nic card that required
the Asante driver.

As for getting Appleshare working, do you mean as a file server on System 6?
System 6 won't do that by itself, it needs more software.
If you mean just as a client then rerun the 608 installer and select
WorkStation from Custom install.
