Personal preference, I guess.   I think Version Tracker provides an 
excellent service, and I'm glad to see them make a buck, as long as 
the service is valuable to me.   I don't mind the ads; mostly I tune 
out advertising.

I don't mind the numerous ads at MacUpdate either.   Here's their
