I have a group of friends who are spread around the country now, but every year amidst the holidays, when we're back in Austin, we gather for or annual Geekathon. This is, of course, a session of networked Mac games into the wee hours of the morning. We've been doing this for over ten years. Going on twelve I think. We started with Pluses as our primary machines. And back then we played Spaceward Ho!. Delta Tao sells Spaceward Ho!. I'm not sure if the later versions are any more resource hungry. We played version 3.0 back when I think or maybe something a bit earlier. I think that the maximum number of players you can manage is eight but I think that's because Spaceward Ho! seems to piggyback off of File Sharing and it has a limit on the number of connected users.
