This message written: Friday, 6 December 2002 16:55:49 PST Found an interesting device in a jumble bin today. An "L" shaped circuit card, about 3 inches by 5 1/2 inches. Has an MC68030 chip and 6 other ICs as well as a few small caps and resistors. On the underside is a large plastic connector that is the right size to clip over the 68000 of a Mac Plus.
It is labeled: Dove Computer Corp. P.N 0108. One of the small caps is broken and a couple of others seem to be damaged, perhaps from heat (lettering blured and a bit discolored). Anyone familiar with this thing? Anyone want to "play" with it? Ken Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without. -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
