A couple of people still earn a living from selling Apple II software 
but nearly all of the hardware sellers have moved on to different 
things. Apple IIgs software under development includes the TCP/IP 
stack, Marinetti plus a web browser and an HTTP server.

IPv6 may make a difference but I would expect NAT (Network Address 
Translation) servers to bridge the gap for our beloved classics. An 
SE/30 with accelerator and external monitor is still useful as a web 
browser but we can't expect that 68K browser software will continue to 
be developed for all eternity. One problem that has been discussed 
recently is security certificates -- who will pay to register 
certificates for 68K users if there is no commercial return.
