The monitor on my plus tends to blank out from time to time.

A slight rap on the case will bring it back, which leads me to think it is a
bad contact. After taking the case of I can't find it. No signs of burns,
corrosion, etc.

Sometimes it will go to a thin vertical line, but normally just goes blank.
To me this suggests one of the 4 wires coming off the yoke.

After looking through the archives again I'm now trying to decide whether it
is a poor connection or if the power supply is failing.

I tend to not think it is the power supply because there is no wavering on
the screen, but I am by no means an expert.(Before you warn me, Yes I know
to be INCREDIBLY careful touching things around the monitor)

(pause for a minute)

Ok, I just looked at the pickle's FAQ. I hadn't thought of checking the ROM
and RAM. I will try this the first chance I get, but I have a feeling It is
not the problem. The computer doesn't seem to notice anything is wrong. If
I am running something It will go right on running until the screen comes
back on.

Any advice to troubleshoot this?
