There are tons of system 6 compatible games out there, especially for 
those 9 inch black and white screens. No need to cripple your classic 
with 7.1.

I wouldn't exactly say 7.1 will cripple the Classic... it actually seems
somewhat snappy, and I notice very little difference between my Classic
4/40 running 7.1 and my SE 2/40 running 6.08. I guess I am weird though,
because I consider my 4/80 Color Classic running 7.5 to be quick (can't
wait for my FPU, RAM, CD, and 7.6... if I ever decide to go that high).
