Only slightly.

I really like using a ramdisk as a quick kick in accessing everything, and I
don't
know of any other way to surf the web at top native speed unless you give
the
browser at least 12 megs of RAM or even more.

That much RAM is NOT necessary, but makes it easier to wring more
performance from the SE/30. And EVERY Mac for that matter. Especially
using Netscape.
