Really, I know of two individuals whose jobs are to strip and destroy
Compacts
because the market for them is far smaller than the quantities they are
sent. I firmly believe there's a future for these venerable old Compacts in
the Concept
Computer phase. While I didn't like the end result of the PeeCee/Compacts I
saw on that site, I at least take refuge in the comfort of knowing they
shall not pass away without having been first made better, and will survive
longer; a more
fitting end than being torn apart for components, alteration of Industry
Design Winners notwithstanding.
