I did something similar this summer. Specially bought a 7300 for the mod. I
took the case of one of my IIci's and started pastic surgery on it. The
main board almost fitted; I had to make room for some chips on the bottom
of the board and had to hacksaw its entire back to make room for the 7300
back.
It is now fitted with 2 HD's, a CD drive right above the floppy drive,
'internal' modem and a crazy bright orange spray paint job. I'm very happy
with it. Only downside was the power supply: it is now mounted UNDER MY
DESK! haha!

Mark, good luck! It sure is big fun: Having someone over for dinner who is
amazed by the fact that I use a 1990 IIci and later is even more amazed
that we've just opened a 40 Mb Photoshop file on it!
