Stuart, Are there pictures of where the 575 a/b board is able to be cut down? Also, any instructions on removing yokes? I had a look at my yoke but was very hesitant to go unscrewing or bashing anything with a hammer just yet.
Scott. PS: Hammer bit was a joke :) -----Original Message----- From: Stuart Bell [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, 7 January 2003 6:49 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: play MP3's on color classic? *snip* Or cur down a 575 a/b and put it in there. You'd need to modify the connector system for the speakers, but it might be simpler than trying to source the individual components. For the original modification, Alexey Danilchenko did the earlier research, described at http://www.stuartbell.dsl.pipex.com/PowerCC/CompendS.html . It misses the component values which Chris ascertained, but does have some nice photos. Stuart -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
