Hmmm. I was just looking at your 'Bionic Mac' and I have a cunning plan 
to solve my hate of 7100s :D.

VIA are a bunch of cheap skates. Nothing they produce for the PC market 
ever works 100%. I personally try to steer clear of there stuff but 
they are getting a strangle hold on PC chip sets now. Their CPU 
technology poses no more threat to intel and AMD then Cyrix did in the 
Pentium I era, they are light years behind what the big 2 are pushing 
out, there stuff is essentially still using Pentium II and gen.1 
Pentium III era technology fired up to it's limits of speed and die 
size.
