Hmmm. I was just looking at your 'Bionic Mac' and I have a cunning plan to solve my hate of 7100s :D. > I think there's a shift in the CPU market now that VIA is making a CPU. VIA are a bunch of cheap skates. Nothing they produce for the PC market ever works 100%. I personally try to steer clear of there stuff but they are getting a strangle hold on PC chip sets now. Their CPU technology poses no more threat to intel and AMD then Cyrix did in the Pentium I era, they are light years behind what the big 2 are pushing out, there stuff is essentially still using Pentium II and gen.1 Pentium III era technology fired up to it's limits of speed and die size. -- Mark Benson AIM - SilValleyPirate Visit FlatPackMacs online: <http://fpm.gotdns.com> Visit my Homepage: <http://homepage.mac.com/markbenson> Vintage Macs List Nanny "Never send a human to do a machine's job." -The Matrix -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
