Disinfectant is perfectly sufficient to detect any virus that affects a 68K Mac, because the last new Mac virus was written in about 1998 and only affects OS 8.5 and up, IIRC. The last 68K virus was written well before Disinfectant was abandoned. The only problem you *might* have is with Word Macro viruses, and unless you're using Word 6 or higher, I'm pretty sure they're not an issue either. And God help you if you're using Word 6. -- the pickle FAQ <http://macfaq.org/index.shtml> _________________________________________________________________ -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
