Dear List, This is not related to the original posters question directly, but I have my own issues with a Stylewriter II printer that I wanted to ask about. I was gifted the printer, but unfortunately, it did not come with a printer cable. I don't have the cable specified, and I don't seem to be able to find one anywhere. Actually that is not true, my local mac dealer has one for $20, but I really don't want to put 20 more dollars into this machine after buying a cartridge for it. I have several cables, but, unfortunately, they all seem to be minidin8 to DB-25 cables, and I need a minidin8 to minidin8 cable. Does anyone know where I can get a minidin8 to minidin8 cable on the cheap or a way to convert a minidin8 to DB-25 cable into a minidin8 to minidin8 cable?
Also, Gamba, I looked on http://docs.info.apple.com (You suggested it to someone for their imagewriter II) and I searched for the manual for the stylewriter II, but for some reason it isn't there! There is a guide to a stylewriter 120, which I think is newer, but most of the same info seems to apply. Do you know where I can find the manual to the stylewriter II? And, according to the Stylewriter 120 manual it requires at least system 7 on a 68020+. Do you know if that true for the Stylewriter II?
