May I suggest you fall back to the StyleWriter 1200 driver. Yes, the SW 1500 driver will certainly drive the SW 1200. But it is fatter for little other real purpose than being able to do color with a SW 1500. It gives no advantage to the 1200 with the remote exception of needing but one driver driving both 1200 and a 1500 if you have both printers. This wouldn't be the case with a Classic II anyway. That extra baggage on a compact may just be a part of your problem. A note: Just a week ago, I scavanged an external hard drive used as a System 6 boot drive for a Plus.
