FWIW Dove sold the memory and SCSI upgrades separately, so I have a 512ke with no extra memory, but with the Dove SCSI upgrade. Other people also made SCSI upgrades, The better ones (like Dove) contain headers which fit into the ROM sockets, with the displaced ROMs plugging into sockets on the upgrade board.
