If wanting to archive and then be able to make floppies when needed is an
issue, here is an idea.(probably already considered but....). The super
drive in the Classic (others?) can read and write to 400K, 800K and 1.4 mb
floppies. It is what I use mine for. I have one of the SE's that has two
800k floppies. I have a harddrive bracket to add a hdd also, but why? I
consider the SE to be one of the most versatile of the classic Macs per it
will run any OS from OS 2 to OS 7.5. I use the Classic to make 800k floppies
for the SE.

IMHO such s/w is of particular interest simply because it shows the 
skill of the programmers in getting so much functionality into so 
little RAM.

FWIW if I ever had to truncate my Mac collection, I'd keep the 128K, 
512K , 512Ke and the Plus in preference to anything else, since they 
are _the_ original incarnation of the whole Mac concept and everything 
later is derivative.
